About BinUpright
BinUpright is a Wellington-based New Zealand company driven by a
simple but important purpose: protecting our environment by
preventing waste from escaping from fallen wheelie bins.
Our journey began with a simple but frightening question: how
much rubbish is being unintentionally released into our
environment simply because wheelie bins are blown over?
When a bin falls, its contents can be scattered across our
streets, parks and gardens, and can ultimately find their way
into drains, streams, rivers and our oceans. We believe this is
an avoidable source of pollution, and that preventing it at the
source is better than trying to clean it up afterwards.
After more than five years of research and development, BinUpright
was created here in the Wellington region by an exceptional team
of product developers with experience creating internationally
recognised products.
But BinUpright is about more than a product. It is about our
passion for protecting the places we call home.
